New Metronomy ... with stop motion, yes please

So Metronomy have released a new album called The English Riviera and along with it a new single called The Look. I was ever so excited to see that the new video uses stop motion animation...

The video was directed by Lorenzo Fonda with help from animators and model makers John Joyce and Max Winston. Lorenzo Fonda talk about the making of The Look here on his website

Salesman in the mirror

I first came across Nico Casavecchia shortly after the release of Where the Wild Things Are with his animated tribute to the film, Buildings and Vampires.
Here is the trailer and his short film, written and directed by Nico Casavecchia, using the same style live footage with animated characters added in post production. I love the short and can't wait to see more from Nico Casavecchia.

I do Sound Design aswel, didn't you know

I've done a few sound design projects, this is the latest, I created the soundtrack for this lip of Pan's Labyrinth, using mainly my own Foley sound recordings and a couple of stock sound clips.
